During the study period, one academic trip per semester is arranged by the school to places of historical and cultural importance.
At the end of the short-term and long-term programs, the school can help organize group trips for one week. The cost will be paid by the students.
Application

◆ REQUIREMENTS

Short-term program students
Teachers, university students and others who are interested in studying Chinese language.
General advanced students
Applicants should have at least a high school diploma.

◆ PROCEDURE

  Applicants should fill in the Application Form for International Students. The Application Form and the application fee of USD$50 should be received by the Foreign Affairs Office of Fuzhou University two months before the program starts. After being accepted, applicants will receive the Application Form for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China (Form JW202). With the form, applicants may procure visas from the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
Expenses

◆ Tuition Fee:
1) Short-term program: US$250 per person for four weeks (an additional US$50 will be charged for each additional week of study).
2) Semester program: US$750
3) Academic year program: US$1500

◆ Registration Fee: US$50

◆ Accommodation: Accommodations are available in the Guest House of Fuzhou University.
1) Apartment: US$8-10/night for a single room or US$10-15/night for a double room, with bathroom, TV, air-conditioner and balcony:
2) Ordinary room: US$5/night/person, with TV and public bathroom.

◆ Board: Meals can be provided at the Guest House for about US$80 per person a month.

◆ All tuition fees and the rent mentioned above for the students of the academic year program and the autumn and spring programs are to be paid at the beginning of each semester. Short-term program students are required to pay all fees in one installment.
Registration
  New international students should bring 8 passport-sized photos, a health certificate and the JW202 form for registration.
